The writing looks to be on the wall for Divock Origi at Liverpool.

The 25-year-old played a big role in the Reds winning the Champions League in 2019 but it seems as if Jurgen Klopp has little use for him these days.

So far this season, Origi has only managed seven minutes of Premier League football across two appearances for the reigning champions.

And The Athletic has reported that Liverpool won’t stand in his way if Wolverhampton Wanderers try to bring him to Molineux.

The report adds that Origi, who has slipped down the pecking order following the club’s £41 million acquisition of Diogo Jota this past summer, could fetch the Anfield side as much as £20 million, according to James Pearce.

Wolves are said to be in the market to bolster their strike force after Raul Jimenez suffered a fractured skull away to Arsenal earlier this month.

Liverpool, who spent £10 million on the Belgian striker in 2014, simply don’t need him as much as they once did, even if Jota is absent until the new year.

Klopp, who labelled Origi ‘outstanding’ last year, still has Roberto Firmino, the hero against Spurs on Wednesday, and Takumi Minamino to use as attacking options.
