Dodoo was allowed to leave Rangers by new Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard on Wednesday.

Released Rangers midfielder Jordan Thompson has reunited with former Ibrox teammate Joe Dodoo at Blackpool.
Dodoo signed for the English League One side on loan on Wednesday, and the Tangerines have quickly followed up that move with another for Thompson, who was freed by Rangers earlier this summer.
Thompson, a full international for Northern Ireland, has agreed a two-year contract in Lancashire, with the option to extend that by a further 12 months.
The 21-year-old tweeted:
Initially on the books of Manchester United, Thompson signed for Rangers in 2015 but only played three times for the Glasgow giants.
The versatile midfielder did however gain significant first team experience through loan spells with Aidrie, Raith Rovers and Livingston, with whom he was promoted from the Championship last season.

Rangers have been quick to strengthen in Thompson’s position, with Scott Arfield (pictured, above) and Ovie Ejaria already added to Steven Gerrard’s ranks.
