The freed Huddersfield Town man’s arrival comes just hours after another former Crystal Palace player, Bakary Sako, made the same move.

The recently-released Huddersfield Town midfielder, Danny Williams, has become the latest player to join Pafos FC after leaving an English club.
The Cypriot side announced Williams’ arrival just hours after doing likewise with Bakary Sako, the former Crystal Palace midfielder.
Williams was one of the casualties of Huddersfield’s relegation from the Premier League, having spent much of his two-year Terriers career sidelined with injuries.
He joins Sako and another freed Crystal Palace player, Jason Puncheon – who spent the second half of last season on loan to Huddersfield – and the ex-Manchester City man, Abdisalam Ibrahim at Pafos.
It remains to be seen what impact Williams’ move will have on the future of Joe Ledley, the one-time Crystal Palace midfielder who has also been linked with Pafos.
Williams was born in Germany, where he spent the bulk of his early career, but has been capped 23 times the United States.
