Bruno Alves is starring for Parma after spending one season at Rangers.

Rangers cut ties with Bruno Alves after just one season at Ibrox.
The decorated Portuguese defender was not part of Steven Gerrard’s plans and Rangers terminated his contract in June, BBC Sport reported.
Alves signed with Italian side Parma and is relishing his return to Serie A.
At the weekend he scored a spectacular free-kick, which broadcaster Eleven Sports compared to a Lionel Messi masterpiece.
Rangers fans only got a brief glimpse of Alves’ set piece ability, he scored an impressive one against Dunfermline last season.
Alves’ goal was enough to earn Parma a 1-1 draw against Chievo.
The centre-back is now 37, and Rangers were clearly right to let him move on if he was not in their plans.
The Gers are still working out their best defensive partnership, but Steven Gerrard is not short of available options.
