Sol Bamba has starred for Cardiff City this season.

In early October last year, Cardiff City swooped to sign free agent Sol Bamba after his release by Leeds United.
Ex-Whites head coach Garry Monk decided he could not offer Bamba sufficient playing time – after loaning in Kyle Bartley, and chose to release Bamba.
Bamba has come into his own at Cardiff, earning a three-year deal in the summer.

Bamba, who has scored twice himself, has an average rating of 7.67, better even than Wolves sensation Diogo Jota (7.57).
Perhaps it was a mistake after all?
Very few Leeds fans missed Sol Bamba last season, as Pontus Jansson and Kyle Bartley forged a strong partnership.
But with Swansea blocking Leeds’ hopes to extend Bartley’s loan deal, Leeds are now without both he and Bamba.
Letting the Ivory Coast ace go is perhaps now looking a little short-sighted, and the defender deserves all the plaudits after his recent career turnaround.
