The 21-year-old striker is now playing for Brighouse Town.
Former Leeds United striker Luke Parkin has been talking to the Brighouse Echo about his career at Thorp Arch and what he has been up to since he left earlier this year.
The forward left the club on a free transfer at the end of March, agreeing to terminate his contract with the club by mutual consent.

He was a promising prospect at Leeds but was simply not looking likely to play first-team football for the club anytime soon.
He featured on trial for Sheffield Wednesday just days after his release. The Brighouse Echo report that he went on to spend pre-season at AFC Fylde and have a brief spell at Gainsborough Trinity.

But he’s now playing for his local team Brighouse Town. He is clearly enjoying his time at his new club but the 21-year-old has nothing but good words to say about his old club:
“I was a massive Leeds fan so to be able to play for them was an honour and I loved my two-year scholarship.
“I also know my current team-mates Jimmy Pollard and Ben Atkinson, so I thought I would try my local club and at least keep my fitness up if I could play for them,” he added. “Everyone has made me feel really welcome and it’s a great set of lads.
“I am really enjoying my time with the club. It’s a different experience for me.

“With the Under 21’s at Leeds we could be playing in front of a crowd of say 30 people just made up of family but it’s great to be playing in front of hundreds and some really passionate supporters.”
The report also highlights his current work as a coach and it seems that Parkin has found himself a club where he is enjoying playing the game.
Leeds fans will no doubt wish him all the best at Brighouse Town.
