Vieira was let go by Leeds this summer after failing to reach the heights of his twin brother.
On-loan Leeds United striker Mallik Wilks has suggested that Romario Vieira is currently undergoing a trial at Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers, as per his Instagram story.
Vieira, 20, was released by Leeds at the end of the season along with the likes of Moses Abioye, Matthew Keogh and Moise Kroma, despite appearing on the Leeds bench for the 0-0 draw against Hull City and the 4-1 loss to Cardiff City.
League One Doncaster lost 1-0 to Grimsby Town on Tuesday night in a pre-season friendly, with Doncaster boss Grant McCann including a trialist in his Rovers side – as confirmed by the club’s pre-match line-up post on Twitter.
The ‘trialist’ was introduced into the action in the 66th minute from the bench, in what was a pre-planned change as he replaced midfielder Tommy Rowe.
Leeds loaned striker Wilks to Doncaster earlier this month, and the young powerhouse hinted that the trialist at Doncaster could indeed be Vieira by posting a short video on his Instagram story – tagging Vieira on the team bus.

It is yet to be seen if indeed the trialist was Vieira, though time will tell as the Guinea Bissau international looks to find a new home following his Elland Road release.
Vieira could get another chance to shine for Doncaster on Wednesday night, with McCann’s side facing minnows Deeping United before a big clash against Sheffield United on Friday night at the Keepmoat.
