The Premier League announced it’s released players list on Friday, which included some big names like Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

One of the lesser known talents let go by Arsenal was youngster Kristopher Da Graca, three years after signing with the club.

This could be of particular note to Newcastle United, with The Sun reporting back in February that the Toon were monitoring his situation.

It was claimed Da Graca was on their radar with view to a potential trial, and now he has been released they could have a decision to make.

The Swedish centre-back has had recent trials with Italian side Genoa and Premier League club Crystal Palace, prior to Sam Allardyce’s resignation, Tribal Football reported.

With interest simmering in the the 19-year-old, Newcastle might have to move quickly if they are to bring him in, now his release has been confirmed.

The teenager would struggle to make an impact on their first team initially, and would instead slot into their under-23 side, coached by Peter Beardsley.

Just last October Da Graca was claimed by The Sun to be interesting Paris Saint-Germain.
