The West Ham United midfielder has really struggled with injury during his time in the game.

West Ham midfielder Jack Wilshere could be set to spend another prolonged spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury, according to a report from the Sun.
The British tabloid claims that the 26-year-old could even miss the rest of the season, if he is forced to have surgery on his troublesome ankle.
Wilshere joined the Hammers on a free transfer in the summer, after his contract expired with Arsenal but he has made just four Premier League starts for Manuel Pellegrini’s men.
The 34-capped England international has always offered with injuries since bursting onto the scene with Arsenal in 2008, and many West Ham fans questioned the wisdom in giving the midfielder such an expensive three-year contract.

Pellegrini will be hoping that Wilshere is back fit sooner rather than later, but the Chilean will surely not be holding out much hope.
