Arsenal and Olympiacos are in constant contact over Reiss Nelson, according to Sportime.
What’s the story?
It is being reported by Sportime that Olympiacos want to sign Nelson from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners and the Greek champions are in ‘constant contact’, which suggests that Arsenal are willing to send the youngster to Olympiacos.
However, the winger himself is not too keen at the moment.
Nelson knows how big Olympiacos are, but he is not convinced about the standards of Super League Greece.
However, there is optimism at Olympiacos that the 21-year-old will be convinced to make the switch on a season-long loan deal.

In demand
Olympiacos are not the only club who are interested in the youngster who came through Arsenal’s Hale End academy.
CBS Sports are reporting that Crystal Palace, Brentford and Brighton and Hove Albion want to sign the English winger.
Arsenal have offered the winger an extension to his contract that runs out next summer, but the Englishman has not accepted it yet.

Arsenal exit inevitable?
Nelson made only two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal last season.
The winger scored one goal and gave one assist in four Europa League games for the Gunners.
The English youngster is clearly a peripheral figure at Arsenal at the moment, and an exit from the Gunners this summer seems inevitable.
