Reiss Nelson has taken to Instagram to compare Emile Smith Rowe to Manchester City maestro Kevin De Bruyne after Arsenal’s 1-0 win.
The Croydon-born playmaker started his second successive Premier League game against Brighton yesterday, and delivered a fine performance.
His efforts saw the likes of Ian Wright, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka praise him when commenting on his Instagram post.
However, Nelson went one further and compared the 20-year-old to the world-class Belgian, who cost Manchester City £54.5 million.
The winger simply wrote ‘@kevindebruyne‘ in response to Smith Rowe’s post.

While the £20,000-a-week midfielder has a long way to go before matching De Bruyne’s quality, there’s no denying he was impressive at the Amex Stadium.
As WhoScored shows, Smith Rowe completed two key passes on an evening where he linked the play nicely.
Additionally, the Arsenal No.32 embarked on two successful dribbles and won two freekicks from Brighton.

Smith Rowe also didn’t shirk his defensive duties either, making one tackle and one clearance against Graham Potter’s men.
It’s good to see the ex-Huddersfield loanee taking the chances provided to him by Mikel Arteta.
After two brilliant displays in back-to-back Premier League wins, surely the Spaniard must keep the youngster in his starting XI.
