West Ham United have looked shaky at the back in their opening fixtures this season.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham United’s Reece Oxford now wants to stay at the London Stadium.
Oxford’s future at the London Stadium has been heavily speculated about, with Sky Sports suggesting that Manuel Pellegrini’s side would have been prepared to listen to offers for the centre-back of £10 million.
However, West Ham’s poor start to the campaign may well have risen Oxford up the pecking order with the London club.
Oxford has just wanted first-team opportunities at West Ham, but he has been starved of them by both Slaven Bilic and David Moyes.
Pellegrini has also failed to pick the youngster, but he may be of use as the season progresses.

West Ham have looked fragile at the back in their opening fixtures, with Fabian Balbuena struggling in his first two competitive appearances and Issa Diop looking shaky over pre-season.
Oxford may now have a genuine chance of playing for Pellegrini’s side this term, and that could be good news for West Ham’s chances of retaining one of their prized youngsters.
