Oxford is enjoying his time back in Germany, after leaving West Ham on loan in January.

Reece Oxford has posted on Instagram for the first time since leaving West Ham United to join German Bundesliga side Augsburg on loan until the end of the season – and he is certainly enjoying himself.
Oxford, 20, failed to make a single appearance for Manuel Pellegrini’s side this season, with the likes of Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena and Angelo Ogbonna preferred at centre-back.
Instead, he appeared 13 times for the Hammers’ second string in Premier League 2. In January, he was offloaded to German side Augsburg, where he is highly-rated after a short stint at Borussia Monchengladbach last season.
German clubs are luring plenty of English talent to the Bundesliga at the moment, with the likes of Reiss Nelson, Jadon Sancho and Emile Smith-Rowe moving abroad. Oxford has done the same for a second time, and posted on Instagram.
Oxford has finally got his taste back for senior football, after making his debut as a two-minute substitute in a 3-0 Bundesliga win over Mainz – before starring in a Cup win over Holstein Kiel, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.
Augsburg is now the third club Oxford has joined on loan, along with Gladbach and Reading. The Sun claimed that there were £20million offers for Oxford ahead of the January transfer window, with Manchester City said to be keen.
