West Ham United are said to be looking to add to their backline in the summer transfer window.

The writing will surely be on the wall for Reece Oxford, if West Ham United do complete the transfers which David Moyes wants this summer.
Moyes is said to be eyeing up another two defenders to add to West Ham’s ranks by Football London, and if they arrive it is extremely difficult to see where Oxford fits in.
The youngster was once regarded as West Ham’s best up-and-coming prospect, and was given time in their first-team at the age of 16.

However, he has lost his way in recent times, and been sent on a series of loan spells.
Declan Rice has moved ahead of Oxford in the pecking order at the London Stadium, and if two new West Ham defenders are added then things will start looking bleak.

West Ham already have the likes of Angelo Ogbonna, Winston Reid, James Collins and even Aaron Cresswell, who appear to be ahead of Oxford in the race for places at centre-back in Moyes’ first-team.
And if two new centre-backs are added to the mix, then it may be best for everyone if Oxford does move on in the summer transfer window.
