Reece James used the word ‘Goated’ on Instagram after Liverpool and Chelsea transfer target Jude Bellingham helped England beat Senegal 3-0 at the last-16 stage of the World Cup.

At 19-years-old, Bellingham produced one of the best performances of his career to date, as he was arguably England’s Man of the Match during a powerful display out in Qatar.

Even though this is the knockout stage of the World Cup, a step up from the group stages, Bellingham walked through Senegal’s midfield like they weren’t there on Sunday evening.

Liverpool supporters eyes must have lit up when they saw his driving run, then cut back from the edge of the box finding Jordan Henderson, who opened the scoring.

Given the Reds’ long-term interest in the player, there are many at Anfield hoping that is replicated on Merseyside during the coming years.

Nonetheless, when Bellingham stated on IG that England booking their quarter-final ticket was ‘massive’, he was lauded in the comments section of his post.

Chelsea defender Reece James, who is injured, wrote ‘Goated’, whilst Newcastle striker Callum Wilson added ‘young king’.

INTEREST IN BELLINGHAM

Game by game, day by day, the interest in Jude Bellingham just rises and rises.

Liverpool and Chelsea are just two of the clubs that have previously expressed interest in the player, but that will be two of many, many elite sides.

Borussia Dortmund can put any price tag on the player because of his current talent, World Cup tax, English tax, age, and future potential.

If this isn’t £100+ million from the German club, then they are doing something seriously wrong because it’s the only way they can go.
