Reece Burke played for West Ham United’s development side against Middlesbrough on Monday.

West Ham United defender Reece Burke has taken to Twitter, after making his comeback from injury on Monday.
Burke played for West Ham’s development squad in their match against Middlesbrough.
And although the Hammers fell to a 3-1 defeat in the contest, Burke was still pleased to be back on a football pitch again after such a long time out.
Burke has not played a competitive match since back in October, when he represented Wigan Athletic against Aston Villa.
Burke is still officially on loan at Wigan, but it is not clear whether he will return to the Latics.
The 20-year-old’s message on Twitter was greeted with a whole host of West Ham fans who are hoping he breaks through at the London Stadium soon.
Burke is regarded as one of the most promising youngsters currently in West Ham’s youth system.
The youngster has made 12 first-team appearances for the Hammers so far, and has also been capped up to under-20 level by England.
