Jose Enrique believes Liverpool will miss out on Jude Bellingham to Manchester City.
Both Premier League giants – and Manchester United – have been linked with signing the England international.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is still only 19 but already worth well over £100 million, meaning that Liverpool and Manchester City will have to make him their record signing.
It has long been reported that Jurgen Klopp has been leading the race to sign Bellingham.
But going by a story coming out of the Etihad Stadium about Ilkay Gundogan potentially leaving, the former Liverpool left-back believes that Pep Guardiola is overseeing a shift in personnel to allow for Bellingham to join this summer.

Even without Gundogan potentially leaving, Manchester City are a threat to Liverpool.
Bellingham won’t be signing for a club with no Champions League football under their belt and it does look increasingly dicey that Klopp will guide the Reds toward a top-four finish this season.
They’re sixth in the Premier League standings and seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, with both having managed 17 outings thus far.
There’s a lot of football to be played obviously, but, with Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk absent, can Liverpool be as consistent as they need to be to catch fourth place, and boost their Bellingham hopes?
It looks doubtful, it has to be said.
