Jamie Redknapp believes Danny Welbeck is better suited to Tottenham than Emmanuel Adebayor.
Danny Welbeck was pictured on England international duty earlier but continues to be linked with a move away from Manchester United.
With the Red Devils linked with signing Radamel Falcao, Welbeck is reported to have been told he can leave the club.
Tottenham Hotspur are a club linked to his signature, and Jamie Redknapp believes he is better suited to the system and style of new manager Mauricio Pochettino than one of their current stars.
He told SkySports: “Welbeck? I can see it happening.
“If you ask what Pochettino wants from his team, it’s pressing. Adebayor is technically gifted but he is not interested in working the channels.
“Welbeck is good at pressing, and making unselfish runs, that will appeal to Pochettino.”
