Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur failed to win against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp and Souness, who started his career at Spurs before moving on to Middlesbrough and subsequently Liverpool, were not impressed with the way Aurier gave away the penalty during the Premier League game between Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The 25-year-old right-back brought down Jose Izquierdo inside the Spurs penalty box in the opening minutes of the second half.

Redknapp and Souness were not impressed with Aurier, as the game finished in a 1-1 draw.
“He is a liability,” said Redknapp about Aurier on Sky Sports Main Event (9:50pm, April 17, 2018) during the post-match analysis of the match.
Souness added: “He is an accident waiting to happen.”

Erratic
Aurier is a good defender, but the right-back is erratic and has made mistakes from time to time this season.
The 25-year-old Ivory Coast international does need to time his tackles and challenges properly, and it is clear that he needs to improve.
The defender, who earns £80,000 per week as salary at Spurs according to Spotrac.com, joined Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017.
