Former Rotherham boss Neil Redfearn has taken an almighty age-related stab at new Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock.

Veteran Championship manager Neil Warnock was this week hired as the new Cardiff City manager, replacing Paul Trollope after a disastrous start to the season.
Trollope managed just two wins in 11 games and ended his spell with a run of six defeats in seven outings.
Neil Redfearn, who was replaced by Warnock at Rotherham United last year, believes the 67-year-old has had his time in management and that his appointment is bad for young coaches in the game.

Redfearn has been out of the game since losing his job at Rotherham earlier in the year having only lasted four months at the New York Stadium.
In an interview with Radio Yorkshire, Redfearn said: “I know Paul Trollope quite well. I did my football coaching qualifications with Paul and he’s a good football person. He knows the game. He’s been a manager before.
“He’s a good coach, he’s coached at international level so I just think it’s a backwards step.

“I think Neil Warnock has had his time, to be honest. What is he now, 70?
“He’s not getting any younger. It’s not good for the game that young coaches are going out of it”.
Warnock’s first game in charge of Cardiff is a week Friday when the Bluebirds meet rivals Bristol City on Friday evening in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
