Leeds United caretaker manager Neil Redfearn has been talking about the changes at the club.
Whatever happens next at Leeds United, Neil Redfearn will continue to be held in high regard.
He is the academy boss who stepped in as caretaker manager, and led the club to three wins in four games, putting in a strong case to be given the job full-time.
Redfearn is back in his previous role now, and while results under new boss Darko Milanic have been slightly underwhelming, their consecutive draws at least means they are unbeaten in two.
He believes, while there are changes, defensively Milanic has improved the side. He told the Yorkshire Evening Post:
“Obviously, Darko is his own man and will do his own thing. To be fair, he is quite well organised in what he does and the players are disciplined.
“We are perhaps different in how we are as coaches. But he has got this way of organising things from the back and things look tighter there and fair play to him.”

The differences are however minute, with Redfearn the side conceded an lower number of goals per average across his four matches.
Milanic’s Leeds allow the opposition a lesser number of attempts on goal, but the differences are not huge. The approach from the Slovenian is at a cost, for going forward Leeds struggle, scoring just once in three matches under him.
Redfearn went onto hail two players from the under-21 side which beat Doncaster 6-0 on Monday night:
“I thought people like Chris Dawson and Adryan were outstanding and their ball manipulation in and around the box was unbelievable.
“It makes you dangerous as a side. But I thought everyone played their part.”
