Arsenal want Elye Wahi and the Montpellier talent is rivalling both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the goalscoring ranks this season.
The Gunners will have a number of names on their wish list for the summer transfer window.
One of them appears to be Montpellier talent Wahi, who is enjoying a fine season over in France.
Two goals against Clermont Foot last weekend means Wahi has now scored 12 times in 24 Ligue 1 games this season.
Wahi now has four goals in his last three games and seemingly can’t stop scoring for Montpellier.
The 20-year-old is on Arsenal’s radar according to Foot Mercato as they claim that Edu and co are tracking Wahi.
A versatile attacker who can play out wide or up front, Wahi could become a prime Arsenal target – and his numbers have him challenging some Gunners talents.

WhoScored have posted a short list of most goals scored by players under the age of 21 in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
Top of the list is Folarin Balogun, who is currently on loan at Reims from Arsenal and has scored 17 times this term.
Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli is second on 13 goals with Gunners teammate Saka third on 12.
It’s quite astonishing that Arsenal have all of the top three on their books, and it could end up being four.
Wahi is tied with Saka on 12 goals, becoming one of the top talents in French football this season.
Arsenal do have other forwards like Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, but if they can add Wahi this summer, they could have some of the top attackers in Europe at Mikel Arteta’s disposal in the years to come.
