Rangers reportedly want goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann at Ibrox.

Rangers saw backup goalkeeper Wes Foderingham keep a clean sheet against Celtic on Sunday afternoon, but a new shot-stopper may still be needed.
The Gers haven’t been able to give Foderingham much first-team football, and his expected exit means that Steven Gerrard is still looking at other goalkeepers, even after landing Andy Firth in January.
The Scottish Sun now report that Rangers are eyeing up Hertha Berlin goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann, in what would be a free transfer.
Klinsmann, 22, is out of contract at Hertha Berlin this summer, and Rangers allegedly watched him in action for their second string against Lokomotiv Leipzig on Friday.
The American has been frustrated at Hertha, meaning he’s likely to move on, but Rangers may face competition from a surprise club.
Tagblatt in Switzerland recently reported that St Gallen want to sign Klinsmann, in the hope of bringing him in as competition Dejan Stojanovic.

St Gallen sit fifth in the Swiss Super League, meaning they’re currently set to miss out on European qualification, whereas Rangers will be in the Europa League qualifiers.
Rangers should be confident of beating St Gallen to Klinsmann’s signature if it gets to that stage, and whilst they won’t be familiar with challenging a mid-table Swiss side for signings, Rangers will hope to avoid a shock.
