The wife of Fabinho has sent a one-word message on the social networking platform – and it’s a perfect one.
Well, it’s not quite a word, but tonight we’ll let it slide due to the occasion.
Liverpool hammered their Merseyside rivals 4-1 at Goodison Park.
And here’s how the Reds star’s wife reacted:
Not wrong
Unfortunately for those on the blue half of the Merseyside divide, she isn’t wrong.
There is a gulf in class between Liverpool and Rafael Benitez’s side and really, it could’ve been a bigger victory for the visitors.
But Jurgen Klopp’s side would’ve taken a win by three goals prior to kickoff and that’s precisely what they wound up with.
All four of Liverpool’s goals were brilliant.
Jordan Henderson curled home from the edge of the box; Mohamed Salah then bent one beyond Jordan Pickford – and then ran half the field before keeping a cool head to make it 3-1.
But the best goal arguably belonged to Diogo Jota, who produced an insane piece of skill to deceive Allan and then smash home with his left foot, from a difficult angle.
All in all, a quite wonderful night for a wonderful team.
And Fabinho’s partner is right – Merseyside is red right now.
