Celtic continued their dominance over Old Firm rivals Rangers with a 2-0 win over Pedro Caixinha’s men at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
The Bhoys went into the game having dropped just two points against the Gers last season, and five points clear of their Glasgow rivals at the top of the Scottish Premiership table this term.
A summer of spending at Rangers gave some fans hope of closing the gap to the Scottish champions, but Caixinha’s side ultimately fell short in Saturday’s clash.

After a tight first half in which Rangers attempted to take the game to Celtic, but the Bhoys took the lead in the second half as Tom Rogic smashed the ball into the roof of the net for the opener.
Leigh Griffiths then made it 2-0, sliding the ball home after being played through on goal, and that’s how it stayed as Brendan Rodgers record yet another win over Rangers.
A number of Celtic players impressed, but centre back Dedryck Boyata was important to the win, shackling Rangers goalscoring sensation Alfredo Morelos with a strong display.

The Belgian, 26, was making just his second appearance of the season having only returned from injury in midweek, but he impressed alongside Jozo Simunovic in the heart of the Celtic back line.
During and after the game, Celtic fans took to Twitter to praise Boyata’s display, stating that he was excellent and superb, praising him as a man of the match contender whilst one fan even admitted that the former Manchester City defender is finally winning them over with his performances.
