The Dutchman wasn’t named in Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League squad.

Tottenham submitted their Premier League squad yesterday, with Mauricio choosing to omit Vincent Janssen, naming just 24 players, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in response to the Dutchman being left out.

Janssen, 24, is currently out with a foot injury, so his omission from Tottenham’s Premier League squad might just be down to the fact that he is not expected back until the new year.

The Holland international joined Spurs from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £17 million, but he desperately failed to establish himself in north London, scoring just two Premier League goals.

He just doesn’t seem built for the robust nature of the Premier League, and a move way from Tottenham seems to be almost nailed on.
