Paul Robinson has criticised Leeds United left-back Ezgjan Alioski on Amazon Prime Video (5:02pm, May 1, 2021).
The former Leeds goalkeeper believes that Alioski gave away a soft penalty against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League this afternoon.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton away from home today.
Pascal Gross put the Seagulls in the lead in the 14th minute when he found the back of the net from the penalty spot.
Danny Welbeck scored in the 79th minute to secure the points for Graham Potter’s side.
Alioski committed a rather clumsy foul on Welbeck inside the penalty area, and Gross made no mistake in converting it.
Robinson said on Amazon Prime Video (5:02pm, May 1, 2021): “I think it’s a really soft penalty. I think the left-back has been a problem for Leeds all season. Alioski has been targeted by teams for his defensive incapability, if you like. It was just a really silly mistake by him.”

Disappointing performance
Alioski, who is out of contract at Leeds at the end of the season, did not have a good game, and the penalty that he gave away was really soft and avoidable.
The 29-year-old North Macedonia international was taken off at half time, and it did not appear that there was any injury problem.
However, one must remember that Alioski is a winger by trade and has been converted into a left-back by Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
