Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told the club’s official website that striker Gabriel Jesus is working extremely hard in training.
Arteta has said that Jesus is progressing well from his injury and is really pushing the boundaries in training at London Colney.
The Arsenal striker is on the sidelines at the moment.
The former Manchester City star suffered an injury while playing for Brazil at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Mikel Arteta on Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus
Arteta said about Jesus: “He’s progressing really well. He’s doing more and more on the field and he’s not reacting [negatively], so that’s really positive.
“We want to have him as quickly as possible but also respect the timeframe we got from the doctor and the specialists. He’s really pushing the boundaries right now.”

Encouraging
It is clear from Mikel Arteta’s comments that Gabriel Jesus cannot wait to return to action for Arsenal.
The striker joined the Gunners from defending champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Jesus was playing well for Arsenal before he suffered the injury.
Now, it could take a while for the Brazilian star to get back to his best once he is ready to play.
But, having Jesus as an option in the final weeks and months of the season will be massive for Arsenal.
The Gunners are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
And there is a very good chance that Mikel Arteta’s side will get the job done.
