Alan Shearer has said on Match of the Day on BBC One that Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas played badly against Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Newcastle United legend believes that Liverpool and Greece international left-back Tsimikas was “really poor” against Brighton.
Jurgen Klopp’s side played out a 3-3 draw with the Seagulls at home in the Premier League.
Tsimikas started at left-back, but he gave a poor account of himself.
The 26-year-old could not provide quality balls from his flank, was vulnerable defensively, and his positioning was suspect as well.

Disappointing
In our view, just like Kostas Tsimikas, a number of other Liverpool players were disappointing in the Premier League game against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Yes, in the end the Reds got a point, but it felt more like a defeat than a draw.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will not be pleased with the two goals than they conceded initially.
Yes, the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners did make a comeback, but that they shipped in three goals in the match is a concern.
