Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Jakub Kiwior for his recent performances.
Arteta has told Arsenal’s official website that Kiwior has been really impressive in the games that he has played for the Gunners this season.
The Spaniard has noted that the 23-year-old has been very calm in the matches that he has played in for Arsenal.
Kiwior joined Arsenal from Spezia in the January transfer window for £20 million (Sky Sports).
The Poland international central defender has made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal since his move in January.
The youngster has also played once in the UEFA Europa League for the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta on Arsenal central defender Jakub Kiwior
Arteta said about Kiwior: “He’s been really impressive, really composed, really calm.
“He’s been brilliant against two very difficult opponents, with a lot of individual talents. He’s defended many situations and dealt with them in a great way.”

Impressive
Jakub Kiwior did not arrive at Arsenal as a big-name player, but the Poland international central defender has done well for the Gunners.
Now, of course, the youngster has got his chance due to the injury to William Saliba, but he has taken that opportunity and has risen to the occasion.
Not many players are able to do that.
Arsenal are still very much in the running for the Premier League title this season.
And for the Gunners to maintain their pressure on Manchester City until the final day of the season, Kiwior will have to maintain his current high level.
