Aston Villa fans have praised Keinan Davis, after he was handed a surprise start last night.
Davis was selected to lead the line for Villa on their return to the Premier League action.
Although Villa could only manage a 0-0 draw with Sheffield United, Davis’s display still earned him plenty of credit.
The target-man troubled the Blades’ defence with his pace and aerial ability.
And Villa fans are generally hoping that he is given more time between now and the end of the season.
Davis has made nine Premier League appearances this term, but most of these have come as a substitute.
The 22-year-old may not be the most prolific scorer, but his ability to bring others into play could prove valuable for Dean Smith’s side.
Villa’s draw with Sheffield United has kept them in 19th place, one point away from safety.
