Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting to the news that Jarell Quansah has signed a professional deal with the Anfield outfit, as announced on Twitter.
The teenager has been at Liverpool for over a decade, working his way up the youth ranks, and it now seems as though it may not be too long before we see him in the first-team after signing his first professional terms.
The 18-year-old has been an integral part of Liverpool’s U18 side this season, captaining the Reds youth outfit on a number of occasions.
Excitingly, the youngster can play as either a right-back or as a centre-back, and Liverpool have a knack of producing decent right-backs in recent years with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Neco Williams and Ki-Jana Hoever coming through in the past few seasons.
It’s always exciting to track the development of a youth player, and Quansah may be a player to keep an eye on in the coming years, and it seems as though The Anfield faithful are quite happy to hear that he’s signed his first professional deal with the Reds.
