Jack Ross has raved about Rangers right-back Nathan Patterson in The Scottish Sun.
Rangers right-back Patterson was in action for Steven Gerrard’s side in their Scottish Premiership game against Hibernian at Ibrox on Sunday.
With James Tavernier injured at the moment, Patterson has been playing at right-back, and the 19-year-old’s display in the 2-1 win for Rangers impressed Hibernian manager Ross.
Ross told The Scottish Sun: “It’s the first time I have seen Nathan Patterson up close and he’s a really good player.”
How did Nathan Patterson play for Rangers against Hibernian?
Patterson is having a breakthrough season at Rangers and is playing extremely well for a player of his age and lack of experience.
The Scotland Under-21 international right-back had a very good and engaging battle with Josh Doig.

The teenager defended well and was a threat going forward, and his performance showed yet again why he could be the long-term successor to Tavernier at right-back and could become a star for the Scotland national football team as well.
According to WhoScored, Patterson took two shots and none was on target, had a pass accuracy of 83%, took 75 touches, attempted two dribbles, made three tackles and three clearances, and put in five crosses.
