Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jurgen Klopp has been praising West Ham and their squad.
The Hammers actually got the better of Liverpool earlier this season beating them 3-2 at the London Stadium back in November.
Klopp was seemingly very impressed by what he saw that day, and he’s been full of praise for two Hammers players in particular.
Indeed, Klopp described the midfield pairing of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek as ‘top’.
What’s been said?
Klopp was full of praise for the West Ham duo.
“They have some really good players and a really strong side I have to say. Against us they’re usually defensive-orientated and counter-attacking, but if you let them play football with this team. I’m not sure who is going to be on the pitch exactly and who is fit, but with Rice and Soucek they have a top double six,” Klopp said.

One of the best in the league
West Ham United were battling relegation when Tomas Soucek first arrived at the club, but now, it’s fair to say that the Czech star and Rice form one of the best midfield pairings in the league.
They both perfectly complement David Moyes’ physical style, and they’re both brilliant on the ball as well.
Liverpool can boast the likes of Fabinho, Thiago and Jordan Henderson in their midfield, but the fact of the matter is that they may find themselves in a real battle this weekend.
