Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has suggested to Football.London that he could include Yves Bissouma in the starting lineup against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby this weekend.

Conte’s Tottenham will take on Arteta’s Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Ahead of the game, Tottenham boss Conte has suggested that Bissouma could start against Arsenal in the North London derby.

The 26-year-old Mali international midfielder moved to Tottenham from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window.

Spurs paid Brighton an initial transfer fee of £25 million for the 26-year-old (Sky Sports).

Bissouma has made one start and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Seagulls so far this season.

The midfield has also played five minutes in the UEFA Champions League for Spurs so far this campaign.

Yves Bissouma could start for Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal

Conte said when asked if he could play three in midfield against Arsenal: “For sure it could be a good option because we have midfielders who are good also to play in a three.

“Bissouma when he came in against Leicester played well and he was really good integrating with Pierre [Emile-Hojbjerg] and Rodrigo Bentancur.

“This could be an option not only for tomorrow but for the future if we need to rest players, especially when you have this type of situation as happened when Kulusevski has this injury. Could be an option.”

Massive game

In our view, the North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon will be massive.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham are strong teams, and there is a chance that the Premier League game could end in a draw.

Maybe 2-2?
