Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Gabriel Jesus on the club’s official website after his side’s win against Frank Lampard’s Everton.
The Gunners got the better of Premier League rivals Everton 2-0 at the M&T Bank Stadium.
Jesus, who joined Arsenal from Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window, scored the opening goal for the North London club at the home of NFL side the Baltimore Raven in the 33rd minute.
The Brazil international striker also set up Bukayo Saka for Arsenal’s second goal on 36 minutes in the pre-season friendly match.
Jesus had scored two goals against German club Nurnberg last weekend.

Mikel Arteta on Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus
Arteta told Arsenal’s official website about Jesus: “He looks really sharp, really dynamic. (He’s got) a really good understanding with his team-mates straight away.
“They are looking for him, he’s generating chances, good connections around specific spaces we want to exploit with him especially, and yeah, we’re really happy.”
Impressive start
In our view, Gabriel Jesus has made a very impressive start to life as an Arsenal player.
The 25-year-old striker has scored three goals in two appearances for the Gunners already.
Yes, there were only pre-season friendly matches, but we have to say that the way the Brazilian has settled into life at Arsenal is very admirable and laudable.
Arsenal have signed a really good and quality striker in Jesus, who could end up scoring 15 to 20 goals in the Premier League next season.
