Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in The Mirror.

Klopp has been impressed by how Tottenham have done under Conte, and believes that Arsenal have potential.

The Liverpool manager made the comments while analysing the race for the Premier League top four this season.

Klopp told The Mirror: “This year is so crazy. Tottenham, for example, changed their manager because they weren’t happy and if they now win their games in hand they could go third and they are really close.

“United, you never know. Arsenal have potential. There’s Chelsea. West Ham are around.

“So we have to win an awful lot of football games – and that’s exactly what we will try. “Then we will see where it ends up.”

Could Tottenham and Arsenal each Klopp’s Liverpool?

In our view, Tottenham and Arsenal are very much in the race for the Premier League top four this season.

And maybe, just maybe, Spurs could actually catch Liverpool.

Liverpool are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 21 matches.

Tottenham are sixth with 36 points from 19 games.

If Spurs win their two games in hand, then they will be only three points behind Liverpool.

Arsenal are seventh with 35 points from 20 games, only three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who have played 22 matches.

Now, we do not think that the Gunners would be able to catch Liverpool, but the North London club are very much in contention for a Champions League spot.

Tottenham are not always playing brilliantly under Conte, but they are getting results and winning matches.
