Ange Postecoglou loved what Jota offered on the ball, as a Giorgos Giakoumakis hat-trick and Daizen Maeda contributed for Celtic to thrash Ross County 4-0, he told BBC Scotland.
The Bhoys took their lead atop the Premiership table to six points at Parkhead on Saturday in fine fashion. Giakoumakis broke the deadlock after just 11 minutes, hit his second seven minutes later and teed Maeda up for a tap in and the Hoops’ third within a 15-minute blitz.
Kayne Ramsay earning the wrath of the referee and a red card two minutes after Maeda’s goal killed the contest. And Giakoumakis ensured Celtic had something to celebrate in the second half when he converted from the spot for a second treble in his last five matches.
Celtic are now unbeaten domestically in 31 games and have gone 25 without a league loss. Livingston remain the last side to take three points off of the Glasgow giants in September, with the Old Firm derby next with the Hoops looking for back-to-back wins over Rangers.

Jota, Maeda and Giakoumakis all impressed Postecoglou as Celtic’s front three helped to a home win over Ross County. The Bhoys boss felt Giakoumakis took his three goals well, to move onto 12 in all competitions across 22 games since his £2.5m move from VVV-Venlo.
Giakoumakis and Maeda also stood out to the Parkhead gaffer for their work leading the line on Saturday afternoon. While Jota showed his skill on the ball as the on-loan Benfica 22-year-old offered his 10th assist of the term so far when creating Giakoumakis’ opener.
“[Giakoumakis] got his goals well, but I thought he and Daizen worked hard for us, and I thought Jota was really bright on the ball,” Postecoglou said (19/03, 17:35).
