Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a number of goalkeepers, and one of them is Brentford star David Raya, who grew up as an Arsenal fan and was on the radar of the Gunners as well.
90min have reported that Tottenham are looking to sign a long-term successor to Hugo Lloris.
Everton and England international goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is among the goalkeepers that Spurs have their eyes on.
Brentford star Raya has also been linked.
90min have reported that Tottenham are actively keeping tabs on the 27-year-old Spain international goalkeeper.
Raya has been on the books of Brentford since 2019 and has done well for the Bees over the years.
The Spaniard is holding his own in the Premier League for Thomas Frank’s side.
Frank himself has spoken highly of Raya in the past.
The Brentford manager described the Spaniard as “really brave with his high line” on the club’s official website in October 2020.

Tottenham target David Raya’s Arsenal links
Interestingly, Arsenal have tried to sign Raya in the past.
The Guardian reported in September 2022 that Arsenal had multiple bids for the Spaniard turned down by Brentford.
In September, Raya told La Vanguardia when asked if he supports Real Madrid: “That’s not true. I’ve followed the Premiership since I was a kid and I like Liverpool and Arsenal. I watch La Liga but without colours.”
