Liverpool should consider a summer swoop for the Real Madrid midfielder.
Jürgen Klopp has a big job on his hands at Anfield in the summer, if he is to build a team capable of winning both the Premier League title and the Champions League.
One particular area of concern for the German will be his midfield department, with Emre Can looking ever more likely to leave Liverpool for Juventus at the end of the season.
Spanish media outlet Don Balon claim that the Reds are interested in signing Real Madrid ace Dani Ceballos, with the young Spaniard growing increasingly more frustrated at his lack of game-time at the Santiago Bernabeu.

At 23, the 38-capped Croatia international is far more experienced than his 21-year-old teammate, and is a more disciplined midfield player – something that the Merseysiders are crying out for.
Kovacic joined Los Blancos from Inter Milan in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be in the region of £25.6 million, and has gone on to make 93 appearances for Zinedine Zidane’s side – no small feat considering the depth of quality in midfield that the Frenchman has at his disposal.
The Real Madrid ace is not only a disciplined holding midfielder, he is also a competent passer fo the football, and is able to break the lines with his excellent vision and pinpoint dispersion of the football.
He would be the ideal foil for the Reds’ more attack-minded players, and would provide a certain level of protection for the back-four.
Whether Madrid would be willing to sell Kovacic remains to be seen, but Liverpool should test the Spanish giant’s resolve in the summer nevertheless.
