The Real Madrid ace would be a sensational signing for Liverpool.

Reds boss Jürgen Klopp is under intense pressure from Liverpool fans to strengthen his squad over the course of the two weeks or so that remain before the transfer window slams shut, especially if Philippe Coutinho leaves Merseyside this summer.

If the Brazilian does end up moving to Barcelona, Klopp will undoubtedly need to bolster his forward options, and with this in mind, he should consider a move for Real Madrid star Isco, whose future in the Spanish capital is uncertain, according to Diario Gol.

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder is vastly experienced in playing at the very highest level, and has always performed superbly when called upon during his time with Madrid, despite failing to nail down a regular first-team spot at the Bernabeu.

The Spain international possesses impeccable technique, and wonderfully tight ball control. He also has an expert eye for a killer pass, and is not afraid of shooting from distance – all attributes that make him the ideal Coutinho replacement, should the little magician leave Anfield.

Isco can also play anywhere along the front-line, which is vital for any player who plays under Klopp, what with the German’s penchant for his attackers to interchange positions during the course of a match.

Whilst convincing the former Malaga man to leave the Bernabeu might seem a difficult challenge on the face of it, the guarantee of first-team football with Liverpool might just tip the scales in the Reds’ favour.

There is also the small matter of a World Cup on the horizon, and he will surely have to feature prominently, if he is to earn a starting berth for Spain in Russia next summer.

And if Klopp manages to bring Isco to Anfield this summer, what a signing it could turn out to be for the Merseyside outfit.
