Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will offer Tottenham Hotspur Gareth Bale and close to €100 million (£87.53m) in transfer fee in order to sign Harry Kane in the summer transfer window, according to Don Balon.

It has also been reported that Perez has reserved the number 9 shirt for 24-year-old England international striker Kane for next season.

Hard to refuse

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and has been in great form for the past four or so seasons.

Tottenham fans will be hugely disappointed if the England international striker is sold in the summer transfer window, but an offer of Bale plus £87.53m could be too much to refuse.

Bale may not have been in great form for Madrid for a while, but the Wales international winger remains hugely popular among the Spurs fans and has been a success in the Premier League.

Moreover, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy could use the cash from Madrid from signing a suitable replacement for Kane.

Losing Kane would not be ideal for Tottenham, but Madrid’s reported offer of Bale plus £87.53m could be too much to resist for the North London outfit.
