The Arsenal ace has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but his affiliation with Barcelona surely makes a move to the Bernabeu unlikely.

According to the Guardian, Real Madrid are contemplating a blockbuster swoop for Gunners right-back Hector Bellerin in the summer, with the Los Blancos hierarchy thought to be big fans of the young Spaniard.
The Spanish giants have fallen well behind bitter rivals Barcelona in La Liga this season, and it seems as though a huge shake-up will be needed at the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer, with many of the Madrid stars approaching the twilight of their careers.
The Guardian claim that one of Madrid’s key targets is Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, who is still under contract with the north Londoners until the summer of 2023.
Does Bellerin’s affiliation with Barcelona make a move to Madrid unlikely though?

The 22-year-old joined the Gunners from Barcelona in 2011 when he was just 16, and he has since gone on to establish himself as one of the Premier League’s finest right-backs.
Los Blancos would surely face resistance from the Gunners if they did indeed move for Bellerin this summer, but even if they did manage to tempt Arsenal into selling, it is debatable whether the Spaniard would be interested in moving to the Bernabeu, given his close affiliation to boyhood club Barcelona.

The 22-year-old is valued at £30.8 million, according to Transfer Markt, but Arsenal still hold all of the cards, with the Spaniard under contract at the Emirates for another five-and-a-half years.
The smart money would be on Bellerin remaining in north London, but if he did return to Spain, it would be unlikely that his destination would be Madrid.
