Real Madrid are interested in signing Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Real Madrid interested in Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus
Defensa Central have reported that last season’s La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid are looking for a new striker.
And they think that Arsenal star Jesus is “ideal” for them, according to the report.
Madrid want a striker who can play alongside Frenchman Karim Benzema or as the lone man upfront.
The European powerhouse also want their new number 9 to be able to play out wide.
And, according to the report, the £265,000-a-week (Spotrac) Jesus fits the bill.

HITC Verdict: Real Madrid have to spend big
In our view, if Real Madrid are genuinely interested in signing Gabriel Jesus, then they have to pay a lot in transfer fees to Arsenal.
Arsenal signed the Brazil international striker from Manchester City only last summer.
And despite his injury problems this season, the striker remains a key figure in manager Mikel Arteta’s team.
Arsenal paid £45 million for Jesus in the summer of 2022, and if they are to sell Jesus at the end of the season, then the North London club will surely ask a lot more than that.
