The talented Spaniard is struggling for first-team football at Real.

Tottenham Hotspur are in need of a new striker this summer. The club signed Vincent Janssen last term to help alleviate their over-reliance on Harry Kane. However, the Dutchman struggled to have success in England and the hunt is on again.
Plenty of names have been mentioned but one which has slipped under the radar is a Real Madrid striker – but not one of the big names.
In fact, it seems Tottenham are interested in youngster Mariano Diaz.
According to Diario Madridista last month the young striker is excited about the potential opportunity to play for Spurs and work under Mauricio Pochettino. Tottenham are also said to be interested in his signature.

Real Betis, Malaga and Atletico Madrid are also keen whilst reports in Italy today suggest that Lazio are also keen.
Diaz started his career at Pochettino’s former club Espanyol. The 23-year-old, who has made one cap for the Dominican Republic, scored five goals in 14 games for Real last season after scoring 27 in 33 for Real Madrid B the season previous.
Spurs would be able to offer the talented Spaniard more first-team football and it seems he’s open to the move.
