According to Marca, Real Madrid are desperate for Federico Valverde to face Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow.
Liverpool will take on Madrid at Anfield in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side lost the first leg 3-1 in Madrid last week and will have to be at their very best to win the tie and progress to the semi-finals.
Marca has reported that Madrid are keen on having Valverde in the starting lineup at Anfield despite the midfielder having injury problems.
The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that the Uruguayan midfielder suffered an injury against Barcelona in El Clasico this past weekend.

The 22-year-old has not trained since, but the midfielder is in the Madrid squad to face Liverpool and could even receive an injection to reduce his pain in order to start, according to the report.
According to WhoScored, Valverde has made 11 starts and nine substitute appearances in La Liga and has made four starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League for Madrid so far this season.
Liverpool are a threat
Despite Madrid having the advantage in the tie, it is clear that head coach Zinedine Zidane is not taking the threat posed by Liverpool very lightly.
The defending Premier League champions can certainly score two or more goals at Anfield and beat Madrid.
