
Real Madrid have been dealt a major fitness boost as Federico Valverde has made it back for their game against Liverpool tonight.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are set to take on Madrid in the Champions League, and initially it was expected that Valverde would miss the clash.
There had been reports in Spain last week that the 22-year-old wouldn’t be fit to feature against Liverpool (Marca).
However, the Uruguayan has now made the squad, in what looks a big boost for Madrid’s chances.
Valverde, if he is fit to start, could be a crucial player for Zinedine Zidane’s side.
The youngster provides much of Madrid’s energy in midfield, which could be key against a Liverpool side who are always intense to play against.
The likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will surely be looking to use their pace to expose Madrid’s ageing side.

But Liverpool may find things more difficult if the ever exuberant Valverde is involved.
Liverpool do at least go into the game with confidence, after winning 3-0 at the weekend.
And the injury news wasn’t all good for Madrid, as they will be without Eden Hazard.
