Michael Owen has claimed that Tottenham’s ground and training ground combined is the ‘best in the world’.
The former striker added that Real Madrid are ‘chasing them’ in that regard, as he told Premier League Daily (18/05/22 at 12:50 pm).
Off the field, and visually, Spurs have transformed in an incredible fashion and could more than argue that their stadium is the best around.
Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu is still being renovated, and by the end of it, they might just have the best sporting infrastructure in the world, so watch out Spurs.
But, until then, it’s Tottenham, according to former England striker Owen, holding that card.
“Tottenham’s ground and training ground combined is probably the best in the world,” said Owen.
“I guess Real Madrid, or someone like that, they are chasing them on that front.
“But the whole infrastructure at Tottenham is geared towards Champions League football.”

BEST IN THE WORLD OFF THE FIELD…NOW NEED TO MATCH IT ON THE FIELD
With Antonio Conte in the dugout, Spurs have a trophy-laden and elite coach to guide them forward.
The Italian is proving his worth by now being one more point away – against Norwich City – and they will return to Champions League football.
Added with one of the best attackers in the game – Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane – Spurs fans will be hoping those upstairs will finally replicate off-field success, with success on the pitch.
Securing Champions League football would help that ten-fold, as Tottenham will be looking to keep that ‘Spursy’ tag well away from them when they face Norwich City.
