Speaking on the Talking Transfers Podcast, Graeme Bailey has been discussing Noni Madueke as transfer speculation around the young winger ramps up.
The PSV star has been excellent over in the Eredivisie for the past two years now, and, understandably, the Englishman is attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League.
According to Bailey, there are a number of interested parties, and two of the most eye-catching of the teams in for Madueke are Leeds United and Newcastle.
What’s been said?
Bailey spoke about Madueke.
“He’s an interesting talent this one. There’s a lot of PSV players being linked, Gakpo, Sangare, but I’m told that Noni Madueke is the one attracting real interest here. Gareth Southgate has been keeping his eye on this player, he’s Barnet-born, fully English, he went to PSV as a youngster and now he’s part of the first-team,” Bailey said.
“There’s a lot of interest from England, Leicester like this guy a lot, but there are a lot of teams, Everton, Newcastle and Leeds. I’m told Arsenal have had a look at him as well over the past 12 months.”

Two great options
Newcastle and Leeds are keen on Madueke, and they’re both great options for the youngster.
On one hand, Madueke could grow alongside Newcastle as the Magpies aim for European domination over the next decade after becoming the richest club in the world.
Meanwhile, Leeds are also a very ambitious team, and as we’ve seen lately with Raphinha, the Elland Road outfit are more than happy to accommodate a tricky winger and give them a platform to shine.
Madueke is spoilt for choice this summer, and that’s a great position for him to be in.
