Real Betis are interested in signing Lucas Moura but would Spurs be willing to sell?

Real Betis sports vice-president Lorenzo Serra Ferrer has admitted that the club are interested in signing Lucas Moura from Tottenham Hotspur.
While the Premier League transfer window closed on August 9, La Liga clubs are still free to sign new players up until 11.59pm on August 31.
Betis have had a busy summer so far, bringing in seven new faces, but are still looking to add at least one more and Moura and Inter Milan’s Joao Mario remain on the wishlist.
When asked about the duo, Ferrer told Eldesmarque: “They are two great footballers and if we have possibilities we would like to have them.
“But we have to be realistic and know what we can do. We try to distribute the economic potential well in order to try to reinforce and improve the squad. We have replaced players that last year performed very well and we think we have improved.”

Whether Spurs would be open to the departure of Moura remains doubtful, especially as they are no longer in a position to sign a replacement.
A January signing from Paris Saint-Germain, the winger has now had his first pre-season under manager Mauricio Pochettino and generally impressed.
With Heung-min Son soon to leave to represent South Korea at the Asian Cup, Pochettino has already lost one option in attacking midfield.
